Answer to Question 1

Leader development is defined as the expansion of a person's capacity to be effective in leadership roles and processes. It focuses on the individual and involves providing leaders with the tools they need to improve their effectiveness in the various roles they play. Leadership development, although related to leader development, is different in that it focuses on an organization's capability to get the work done through its many leaders. The differences are key as they each address different levels of development.
