The students' rsum layout should follow the examples of functional rsum layouts found in Figures 14-1, 14-2, and 14-3.

Answer to Question 2

Although student letter content may vary, the first paragraph should state the reason for the letter, the position for which the student is applying, and how the student learned of the position. The second paragraph should provide specifics as to why the student is interested in the position and state general reasons why the student is the best candidate. The third paragraph should refer the applicant to an attached rsum and detail related skills. The final paragraph should indicate a desire for an interview and express a rsum
