Answer to Question 1

D

Answer to Question 2

Exporters prefer payment in advance because it reduces their risk, and because they get paid quickly. Payment in advance is undesirable for importers because they must give up use of cash prior to receipt of the goods and bear the risk that the exporter will fail to deliver the goods in accordance with the sales contract.
