Employees should also have some input in those things that affect them. Their involvement and participation has been found to lessen stress. Supervisors must recognize that no matter what they do to eliminate organizational stressors, some employees will still be stressed out. Supervisors simply have little or no control over the employee's personal factors. Supervisors also face an ethical issue when personal factors cause stress  just how far can one intrude on an employee's personal life? To help deal with this issue, many companies have started employee assistance and wellness programs. These employer-offered programs are designed to assist employees in areas where they may be having.
