Answer to Question 1

A

Answer to Question 2

UML-style E-R diagrams indicate a weak entity by placing a diamond at the parent end of the connecting line, together with a single number one to represent the a 1..1 cardinality for the parent. To differentiate between ID-dependent and non-ID-dependent relationships, a label is added to the connecting line. If the relationship is ID-dependent, the label is added, and if the relationship is non-ID-dependent, the label is added.
