Answer to Question 1

TRUE

Answer to Question 2

Using the MySQL installer, select MySQL for Excel that will install the MySQL for Excel Add-In. When Excel is launched, the add-in will appear on the DATA tab in the Excel 2013 ribbon as a button. Click on the button to launch the Open a MySQL Connection pane. Double-click the appropriate Local Connection link and enter the password. Select the database schema name, select the sheet with the data, and be sure to highlight the entire data range then click Export Excel Data to New Table. Set the desired table characteristics such as the new table name, primary key, datatype and NULL/NOT NULL. Then click the Export Data button to populate the table. Click OK then Close to finish the process. The imported table does not have to be normalized, so adjustments may have to be made.
