Answer to Question 1

In MySQL Community Edition, new databases are created in the MySQL Workbench. Click the Add Schema button. The new_schema dialog box is displayed. In the new_schema dialog box, enter the database name. Click the Apply button to display the Apply SQL Script to Database: Review SQL Script dialog box. Click the Apply button to run the SQL script. The Apply SQL Script to Database: Apply SQL Script dialog box is displayed. Click the Finish button, and the new_schema dialog box is displayed again. It is OK to ignore a warning message about capital letters in the new schema name, the name will be converted to lowercase if necessary.
