Answer to Question 1

Systems analysts need to develop four types of skills in order to succeed. Analytical skills are needed to understand the organization and its functions, identify opportunities and problems and to analyze and solve problems. Technical skills help you to understand the potential and limitation of information technology. Management skills help you to manage projects as well as the people involved. Finally, interpersonal skills help you to work with users as well as other members of the technical team.

Answer to Question 2

A
Explanation: A) Projects identified by steering committees reflect the diversity of the committee and therefore have a cross-functional focus.
