Answer to Question 1

Answer: C

Answer to Question 2

There are several ways to store XML documents. One option is to shred the data, which means to store each element independently in a relational database table and use other tables to represent the relationship between elements. Another option, which is not very useful for searching, is to store the entire XML document in an object in the database (such as a BLOB or CLOB). The XML could also be stored using special XML columns that are part of the database. The final method is to store the data using a native XML database. The last two options are the most popular.
