Answer to Question 1

A disaster recovery plan attempts to identify all the possible ways that a disaster can occur. Then it attempts to develop policies and procedures that can mitigate the disaster, by preventing disruption of data and services or by restoring data and services as soon as possible.

Answer to Question 2

Threat analysis is about identifying anything that could harm the database or the data integrity. These can include external threats such as hackers, but it should also include internal threats such as data entry accidents or update and delete accidents. It is important to have a clear and comprehensive view of what threats are possible.
