Consider this Scenario. A nonprofit wants a database to store its donations and its contributions to the community. They are hoping to create a website that will show people what services they offer.
 
  They want the ability for donors to make donations through the website. The donations will be recorded directly to the database. They also want clients in their area to be able to apply for assistance on-line. The clients would have to be in one of two zip codes. Their application would be stored in the database, but it would be manually reviewed before any grants were given. What business rules do you see in this scenario?

There are several business rules in the scenario. Donors can donate on-line. They and anyone else can view the services and other public information. Clients can apply on-line but their application must be reviewed manually. Additionally, potential clients must reside in one of two zip codes.
