Answer to Question 1

TRUE

Answer to Question 2

The main danger of redundant data is that the database will become inconsistent and inaccurate. When data is redundant--the same data stored in more than one place--it is easy to update the data in one place but fail to update it in the other. For example, consider a database where customer information is stored in two different tables and the customer changes his address. It is updated in one table and not in another. The data has become inaccurate and untrustworthy. It is no longer possible to know which is the correct address for that customer.

People who have myopia, or nearsightedness, are not able to see objects at a distance but only up close. It occurs when the cornea is either curved too steeply, the eye is too long, or both. This condition is progressive and worsens with time. More than 100 million people in the United States are nearsighted, but only 20% of those are born with the condition. Diet, eye exercise, drug therapy, and corrective lenses can all help manage nearsightedness.
