To capture as much data about the interview as possible, the interviewer should compose his or her written report as soon as the interview is complete.

Answer to Question 2

The COMMIT command causes all updates on the database to be recorded on the disk. It is automatically issued during the checkpoints, but can also be manually issued by the user or the DBA.
