Answer to Question 1

A database system is a computer-based system, and its purpose is to enable an efficient interaction between the users and the information captured in a database.

Answer to Question 2

Change management (CM) is important for the success of ERP systems because they are intended to make drastic changes to the existing business processes. Once the processes have been identified that will be changed and the job descriptions that will be changed, all of these changes need to be communicated to the affected end users. Users will also need training in how the processes have changed and how they play a role in the new processes.
