A successful ERP project manager should be flexible, disciplined, a quick learner, a good decision maker, have ERP and business experience, have political clout with a formal education, be well liked, and be able to motivate the staff. They will have to be able to recognize team players as opposed to those who are more interested in their own personal advancement.
