This means that objectives of the project need to be clearly communicated throughout the organization and a clear focus maintained. Managers must continuously evaluate the project status and be flexible enough to take advantage of the capabilities of the ERP system. To be a success, they must also be skillful at managing organizational change. To maintain a competitive advantage, managers must also learn how to integrate their ERP system with the Internet and across the global organization.
