Answer to Question 1

Conceptually, components and objects are very close. They are so close, in fact, that it is easy to confuse them. The component might be composed of one object, many objects, or no objects at all. The other important distinction is the binary nature of components. In other words, components are language-neutral, while objects are language-dependent.
