Answer to Question 1

FALSE

Answer to Question 2

Inheritance is one of the basic concepts of object orientation: an object can be a specialized type of another object. Inheritance, however, is also a mechanism. The first type of this mechanism is implementation inheritance, also called subclassing, by which a subclass (or child) can reuse, extend, or override the attributes and the operations of its parent without starting from scratch. The subclass may change, limit, or block the implementation of a service offered by its parent. This is called overriding. It may also add attributes and/or operations that do not exist in the superclass. This is called extension.
