Answer to Question 1

B

Answer to Question 2

The cleansing process can be difficult because legacy data often has definitions that have changed over time, contain gaps or missing fields. Sometimes source data was not validated properly and its quality is suspect. This data often cannot be ignored and so it must, therefore, be corrected to load into the data warehouse.
