1. Level 1 is the external, conceptual, or local level. This level is not concerned with how the data is physically stored or what data is used by other applications.
2. Level 2 is the logical or enterprise data level. It encompasses all of the organization's relevant data under the control of the data administrators.
3. Level 3 is the physical or storage level. It specifies the way the data is physically stored.
