Answer to Question 1

FALSE

Answer to Question 2

Topologies determine not only how devices are connected to each other, but also how they access the media they use for communication. A topology is both physical and logical. A traditional star topology is configured such that a central controlling device has other networked devices connected to it by point-to-point circuits. A ring topology uses a single cable such that the cable ends meet and form a closed loop. IBM also introduced the token ring protocol, which is associated with the ring topology. The bus topology, like the ring, views its circuit as a single cable. Unlike the ring, the cable does not form a closed loop. Devices connect to the central cable, using it as a communications pipeline. The protocol most often associated with the bus topology is Ethernet.

Though Candida and Aspergillus species are the most common fungal pathogens causing invasive fungal disease in the immunocompromised, infections due to previously uncommon hyaline and dematiaceous filamentous fungi are occurring more often today. Rare fungal infections, once accurately diagnosed, may require surgical debridement, immunotherapy, and newer antifungals used singly or in combination with older antifungals, on a case-by-case basis.

Every flu season is different, and even healthy people can get extremely sick from the flu, as well as spread it to others. The flu season can begin as early as October and last as late as May. Every person over six months of age should get an annual flu vaccine. The vaccine cannot cause you to get influenza, but in some seasons, may not be completely able to prevent you from acquiring influenza due to changes in causative viruses. The viruses in the flu shot are killed—there is no way they can give you the flu. Minor side effects include soreness, redness, or swelling where the shot was given. It is possible to develop a slight fever, and body aches, but these are simply signs that the body is responding to the vaccine and making itself ready to fight off the influenza virus should you come in contact with it.
