Professionalism, leadership, communication and the ability to work with others as well as under-standing the business and principles of running a hospital business and health care environment are required. No specific staffing systems are required. Although nurses are required to use criti-cal thinking skills on a daily basis, this is not one of the areas for which competency is measured or required.
