Answer to Question 1

B
To humanize means to recognize the individual's human characteristics and to address the pre-sented health care issues with dignity and respect. To implement the spiritual aspect of holistic health care, concerted effort is needed by health care leaders in both education and practice to guide people in a careful exploration of interpersonal communication processes that are known to promote humanizing relationships not only between the nurse and client but also between and among health care colleagues.
