Answer to Question 1

C
A Gantt chart is used in decision making when a project is needed to be clearly defined from beginning to end; hence it would be a good tool for Nurse X to use to outline her project. The Delphi technique (not diagram) is a kind of group decision making.
The program evaluation and review technique (PERT) provides a visual picture of required tasks over an amount of time, but is not as detailed as the Gantt chart. The decision analysis tree is another good tool for decision making but is not as detailed as the Gantt chart and may or may not include a timeline for completion of tasks.

Answer to Question 2

C
In the nominal technique for group decision making, the members are meeting in a face-to-face environment. Some key advantages of the Delphi technique is that it is not held in a face-to-face environment and it can involve a large number of participants, therefore sharing a greater number of ideas.
