What is the most significant disadvantage of using hiring bonuses or sign-on bonuses as hiring aids?
 
  1. They attract new nurse graduates.
  2. They do not affect wage scales.
  3. They discourage current staff.
  4. They recognize achievement and experience.

A bonus will not affect the wage scale. The bonus does not recognize experience.
