The first step should be to try a bronchodilator first, then increase the oxygen concentration, re-peat the oxygen saturation for changes, then obtain a 12-lead ECG to rule out evolving myocar-dial infarction, call the RRT for their consult, and then obtain a chest radiograph to see if that explains the change in condition.
