Each plan of care should be individualized to reflect client values, clinical needs, and preferences. Confidentiality is defined as providing only the information needed to provide care for the client to other health professionals who are directly involved in the care of the client. The nurse can use Maslow's hierarchy of needs to prioritize goals and objectives. Therapeutic communication helps the nurse use the nursing process.
