Answer to Question 1

Correct Answer: 2, 4, 5

Patient-centered care is defined as care organized around the patient. It is an approach to health care (planning, delivery, and evaluation) that is grounded in partnering with patients and families, and is built on the core concepts of dignity and respect, information sharing, participation, and collaboration. Client autonomy and client privacy are basic care principles that are not specifically identified with patient-centered care.

Answer to Question 2

Correct Answer: 3

A person who wishes to become a pharmacist must have at least 2 years of post-secondary education prior to applying for pharmacy school. A baccalaureate degree is not necessary, nor is a master's degree. Once admitted to pharmacy school, the student must achieve a PharmD in order to take the licensure examination for pharmacy. There is no process by which a person with an associate degree can become a pharmacist through an internship.
