Productive and paid work is an expectation of mainstream American society. Work can be frustrating and unfulfilling. This may lead to stress. In addition, unemployment:
 
  1. Causes a person to become an abuser at home
  2. Is also associated with violence within and outside the home
  3. Is often a good respite for people who have been working in jobs they find un-important and boring
  4. Is the cornerstone of child abuse

Question 2

Persons who are self-employed but have inadequate health insurance are considered:
 
  1. Poor
  2. Near poor
  3. Medically indigent
  4. Uninsured
