The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) says:
 
  1. A person's insurance can remain the same even if jobs have changed.
  2. Staff must account for all work done.
  3. Client confidentiality is strictly adhered to by staff.
  4. This is in effect for those with health insurance.
