Answer to Question 1

Ans: B
Lillian Wald coined the term public health nurse in 1893. Nurses have had a rich practice in the community, transforming both individual and public health for the poor and disenfranchised through political advocacy long before the 20th century. The public health nurse was one who provided health care to people within a community. Public health nursing started before coining the term public health nurse.

Answer to Question 2

Ans: C
Beneficence is the desire to act in the best interest of others. Autonomy is the right of individuals to self-determination. Nonmaleficence is the avoidance of harm. Fidelity is being faithful in making promises and steadfast in keeping them.
