Answer to Question 1

ANS: B
The preferred educational level for faith community nurses is a baccalaureate degree.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: C
Today, there are approximately 15,000 faith community nurses serving in a variety of faith set-tings across the United States and in 23 countries around the world such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Swaziland, Ukraine, and Pakistan, to name a few. This number is a conservative estimate and is based on the number of nurses reporting taking an International Par-ish Nurse Resource Center (IPNRC)-affiliated foundations course in faith community nursing and does not reflect the individuals who have completed nonaffiliated IPNRC programs or who practice without additional education in the specialty area.
