Several important variables help determine the quality of evidence. Blinding is one of them. Blinding relates to what factor affecting quality of evidence?
 
  1. The sample size is large enough to show an effect of the intervention.
  2. The outcomes being measured accurately.
  3. The research or evaluator not knowing if a participant is in the experimental or control group.
  4. The attrition rate of the subjects.

Question 2

Nurses need to acknowledge and understand evidenced-based practice. They can participate in using it by
 
  1. Having active programs of research
  2. Attending national nursing meetings
  3. Participating with legislators in making policy
