A home care nurse was assigned to a new patient who lived with her daughter. The client was 82 years old, incontinent, and sometimes confused. The nurse found her lying in wet linens.
 
  The elderly woman asked the nurse to change the sheets and not worry about it. Why would the elderly woman sound so cavalier (unconcerned)?
