During a biological attack one should: move away quickly; wash with soap and water; contact authorities; listen to the media for official instructions; and seek medical attention if you become sick. If a chemical attack were occurring, the first action would be to close doors and windows. In the case of a biological attack, one should move quickly away from the area. A family emergency plan should be developed well in advance of a biological attack. Unless directed by the authorities, it should not be necessary in any type of an attack to keep a written record of everything that is eaten.
