b.Discuss the informal powers that Congress has to check the president, including speeches and media appearances. Examples could include speeches by Senators Marco Rubio and Rand Paul and television appearances by Senator John McCain.
c. Explain intra-branch checks on presidential action, such as leaks and military pushback.Examples could include the conflict between Truman and MacArthur and the Edward Snowden leaks.
d. Assess which checksseem to have been most effective,making a clear argument and using evidence from the text to support claims.
