Why would an arrested suspect want to plea bargain instead of have a trial?
 
  a. If a trail were held, the suspect would have to pay for a lawyer.
  b. With a plea bargain, the suspect would probably be convicted of a lesser offense and get a minimum or suspended sentence.
  c. With a plea bargain, the suspect would be guaranteed that he would not go to prison.
  d. With a plea bargain, the suspect would be immediately released from jail.
