Explain why the following statement is false: A conditioned reinforcer is called generalized because it reinforces a wide range of behaviors.

Answer to Question 1

This statement is false because a conditioned reinforcer is effective across a wide range of EO conditions. Many reinforcers function to reinforce a wide range of behaviors. A generalized reinforcer, however, does not depend upon a specific EO to be effective
