An ideal response will:
1, Identify Article III as the part of the Constitution that describes the powers of the judicial branch.
2, Explain that Article III establishes a Supreme Court and defines the jurisdiction of that court.
3, Explain that Article III permits, but does not require, Congress to create additional lower federal courts and proscribe their jurisdiction.

Answer to Question 2

An ideal response will:
1, Define political socialization.
2, Identify more than one type of agent of political socialization and compare how these agents shape one's political beliefs at different stages throughout one's life (e.g., family, schools, the media, and popular culture).
3, Discuss which factors have been personally important and how political beliefs can change.
