Answer to Question 1

An ideal response will:
1. Define attentive public as citizens who follow public affairs carefully.
2. Provide a few reasons why Rey is considered to be attentive, such as voting behavior, reading habits, previous personal discussions about politics, and external factors like important agents of political socialization that could potentially influence Rey to be attentive.

Answer to Question 2

An ideal response will:
1. Define attentive public as citizens who follow public affairs carefully.
2. Explain that the older and more educated one is, the higher the chance of political activity. In such a case, the older, more educated individual is more likely to follow public affairs and be more politically active. Younger, less educated citizens are less likely to vote, and are therefore seen as less politically active.
