What is the difference between DRI and DRA?
 
  a. DRI involves reinforcing a behavior that is incompatible with the problem behavior, whereas DRA involves reinforcing a behavior that may not be incompatible with the problem behavior.
  b. DRA involves reinforcing anything other than the problem behavior, whereas DRI involves reinforcing any behavior that is incompatible with the problem behavior.
  c. With DRA, the time interval is reset, whereas with DRI it is not.
  d. None of the above. There is no difference between DRI and DRa.

Question 2

Illustrate an example of how treating a problem behavior before understanding its function can be problematic.

The answer should include a situation in which an intervention is utilized without regard to the function of the behavior being targeted. Additionally, the answer should illustrate how the intervention may not target the problem behavior at all, or even act to exacerbate the problem behavior.
