Negative punishment can best be defined as:
 
  a. Delivery of a stimulus after a behavior that increases the occurrence of the behavior.

Treatment drift is a threat to the internal validity of a study. Low treatment integrity is a major source of confound in an experiment, making it difficult, or impossible, to interpret the results with confidence.
