Student should identify a measurable and observable dependent variable and an independent variable able to be manipulated.

Answer to Question 2

Essential components of all experiments in ABA: at least one subject, at least one behavior, at least one setting, a system for measuring behavior and ongoing visual analysis of data, at least one treatment or intervention condition, manipulations of the independent variable so that its effects on the dependent variable, if any, can be detected
