Answer to Question 1

There are technical difficulties in testing the hypothesis, and also all ideas generated in any language are ultimately translatable to another even if it requires more words to do so.

Answer to Question 2

Because it argues that language shapes our experience of culture and our perceptions of reality, it means that language is the most critical aspect of being human.
