Ethnocentrism is judging other cultures by your own. It involves an attitude of cultural superiority and looking at other cultures from the point of view of one's own culture. It is often the source of racism.

It helps us make better informed decisions, it opens up our eyes to new perspectives, and it improves the lives of people facing difficult changes.
