Answer to Question 1

a

Answer to Question 2

Answer: What students' senses tell them can be put into words, providing details and ideas for poetry. A preliminary activity that sharpens the students' senses begins with questions to activate sensory memories. For instance, questions can be asked to describe touch, taste, smell, sight, and sound. As students think and respond to these questions, they should be encouraged to go beyond their sensory memories to think about what their responses reminds them about a memory. When students think about how something sounds, looks, feels, tastes, or sounds, they begin to use the language of poetry.

Certain triggers may cause a drug abuser to relapse. Research shows that long-term drug abuse results in significant changes in brain function that persist long after an individual stops using drugs.
