4. Agricultural societies typically have formal ownership of land and other assets.
5. Industrial/digital economies have formal ownership rights of all resources.

1. The formal sector is salaried or wage-based work that is officially recognized and recorded.
2. The informal sector is not officially recognized and is often illegal.
