Answer to Question 1

B
Feedback:
Personal drawers and closets permit residents to take care of their own possessions, thus allowing them to feel secure. This demonstrates the basic need of security on Maslow's hierarchy of needs. Large airy windows do not demonstrate any of the basic needs. Consistent placement of furniture demonstrates the basic need of trust. Comfortable couches and rocking chairs demonstrate the basic need of love.

Answer to Question 2

B
Feedback:
There is a genetic component to Alzheimer's, and it is linked to Down syndrome. The likelihood of this daughter having a baby with Down syndrome is greater than the average, as is her own chance of developing Alzheimer's disease. At this time, there is little use in finding out whether a young person may later develop Alzheimer's disease, as there is no known cure.

Your skin wrinkles if you stay in the bathtub a long time because the outermost layer of skin (which consists of dead keratin) swells when it absorbs water. It is tightly attached to the skin below it, so it compensates for the increased area by wrinkling. This happens to the hands and feet because they have the thickest layer of dead keratin cells.
