Answer to Question 1

C
Feedback:
It is preferable to intersperse activities throughout the day rather than concentrating them in the morning. A bath and a snack in the evening are both conducive to sleep and going to bed too early is not conducive to sustained sleep.

Answer to Question 2

B
Feedback:
Before the 1950s, acne was sometimes treated with x-rays, which increased the risk of thyroid cancer. A person now in her or his seventies might well have had acne in the 1940s. Cigarette smoking increases the risk of some cancers, but not thyroid cancer. The belief that stress and other toxic emotions can depress immune functions and contribute to cancer is an unsupported claim. The fear that many people have that artificial sweeteners cause cancer has not been proven.
