Postconcussive syndrome can persist for months, years, or indefinitely. Signs and symptoms include fatigue, headache, vertigo, lethargy, irritability, personality changes, cognitive deficits, decreased information processing speed, and memory, understanding, learning, and perceptual difficulties.
